Social Programme
 

An exciting social programme has been organised for delegates and accompanying persons. The programme has been devised to reflect the typical social schedule of Madrid, where lunch and dinner are taken later than most other European cities!

Many events are included in the registration fees, but there are also optional tours and events to choose from at additional cost.

Gala Event

Castillo de Viñuelas
An outdoors “Spanish Party” at an exquisite location on the outskirts of Madrid. Taste food and wines from various regions of Spain, from Valencia to Andalucia! The evening will have an informal atmosphere and give the opportunity to mingle with other delegates. Departure from hotels at ~ 8.30pm.

El Corral de la PachecaFlamenco Show and Dinner

Dinner and authentic Spanish flamenco show at El Corral de la Pacheca, within a short walking distance of Hotel Meliá Castilla. The dance company comprises top figures in the world of Spanish dance. El Corral de la Pacheca began in the 17th century as an open-air theatre and flamenco dinners started there in 1971. The Castilian architecture and prestige of the dancers and musicians have built the reputation of La Pacheca, to make it one of the most important of its kind in Spain.

 

The Flamenco Show, combined with excellent Spanish cuisine, make for an unforgettable evening's entertainment. Places are limited so register early.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Note: Delegates who do not attend the visits to galvanizing plants on 8 and 12 June may opt to attend sightseeing tours on those days.

The tour to Toledo on Tuesday, 9 June is included in the fee for accompanying perons.
